Cartoon Reflection
I am pleased with the final piece. Mostly I'm happy that I was able to take a piece of my art, in my own style and have it be in full color. The color scheme is intentionally bright and I think it helps the image stand our and makes it appealing to look at. I feel that my weakest point with the image was that it's not really doing too much, a more dynamic pose could help make it feel more lively and fun.
The easiest part of the project was drawing the project by hand when I was creating the chibi version of myself. I often spend time drawing characters, so this was no real issue at all for me. The most difficult part however was coloring the image on the computer. The way I draw is heavily influenced by the Japanese artist Sushio, so I wanted to have the coloring and appearance of the image have a similar style of shading and coloring to it. With it completed I am pleased with how it has come out and I feel that I was able to successfully create a cartoon version of myself.
I think I was able to demonstrate the objective of the project by using what skills I have as an "artist" and what I know about Photoshop to make a cartoon version of myself. I was able to do this by having some understanding of the tools and of my own style when working on the piece, so I could properly translate the vision into an actual image. I think the final image is generally a good looking one, it isn't flawless, no drawing is, but I feel that I was able to achieve something that I am proud of.

Polaroid Reflection
I am relatively pleased with this piece. The background pleases me in particular, with the colors and circuity it is pleasing to my eye. I am also happy with the images that I was able to color and integrate into the piece. I feel as though the Polaroids, and the image of me within them, could have been done better. The significance of the background also seems to be nonexistent, and while it does look random in comparison to what is being presented, it is relevant to the anime drawings within the piece.
I feel that the easiest part was finding the images I wanted to incorporate into the piece. I had known from the get go that I had one drawing in particular I wanted to see in color. The most difficult part on the other hand was incorporating the image of me within the Polaroids. It seemed as though the frames were constantly getting in the way of everything. In the end I am okay with how it looks.T his image was done completely through Photoshop. I had used various tools, such as the loop tool, brush tool, and the selection tool.
I feel as though I was able to show that I enjoy anime and technology and sort of drawing and working with these things myself. I think I was able to convey this by using my own drawings in the final product. If I could do this activity again I feel that I would rearrange the Polaroid frames and perhaps change the picture inside of them. Those parts of this image, in my opinion, are the weakest parts in this piece.
